Hey guys I got a quick question for you all… I lowered my car about six months ago and took it in to get it aligned after a week or so. No problems. I just bought new wheels and tires and noticed that the old tires were wearing a lot on the inside shoulder, so I’ve decided to get the car aligned again. Well, I recently got my front bumper repainted to get the stone chips fixed and I’m nervous about them putting it on the rack and scraping the new paint. So are there any recommendations on places to get a lowered car aligned? Any specific lifts that facilitate lowered cars? I went by GM just to see what they had to say and they said that it was too low for any of their lifts. Anyway, any advice would be really appreciated.
Just call a good alignment shop and ask if they do lowered cars, if they do they'll have blocks to drive on. I've lowered mine and asked the shop if I needed to bring them, they had them.
if you are very careful and set up boards properly it will work
My car is too low I'm going in tomorrow morning to raise it for the 2nd time in 3 months lol
I cut the bushing off completely in the front and went with longer bolts in the rear though...mine is just barely a problem. I think with a 2.5-3" gap in the rear I'll be ok
my dealer didnt say one word of a complaint of my lowered car and im running no bushings up front and and longer bolts out back. I was sure i was gonna get a call complaining about how low it was. I went to Jennings Chevrolet. I was happy with their service
