Losing power program
I have a 2000 C-5 with cam, heads, exhaust modified. I bought the car like this and know there has to be a power program or chip installed. I am taking her to Mr. Goodwrench for and electrical glich and other little stuff. Problem: If they have to access or work through the computer am I going to lose the programming, and if I do what should I do? I know the car won't run right without it and I don't know the exact details of the cam and head mods. What should I do guys!!?

Two things. One - I would take it to a local tuner and have him download your current settings onto his computer so that he can flash it back if needed. Two - make sure you tell the service tech NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT to upgrade your PCM software. If they upgrade the PCM, you can not put the old settings back.
