What can I expect hours-wise for an install of a TransGo Shift kit and the recommended aluminum pistons to replace the plastic ones in the transmission.

Is there anything else that needs to be firmed up when installing this? I don't want to install anything without the proper pre-emptive strikes on potential problems.

Your looking at taking valve body out, put on a table & change various components. Time wise would be about 4 hours. With increased line pressure you will want to remove plastic accumulator piston as these will crack.

I used HP Tuners to remove the torque management and up the presure. Wonder if I need to upgrade the pistons??

they make upgraded servos that are larger. they will firm up shifts go wit hthe trans go race reprogrammings kit. ive install dozens over the years best kit out there

I am thinking this is the kit that RPM uses in the one,s that they do. Great group of guys up there. Give them a call and talk with one of the guys... I am sure they will sell you all the parts you need also...
