Default Tiger Shark progress report...

Here is another installment of the Tiger Shark project.
Phase One I did a long time ago...
Blackwing Air cleaner,
Bassani X-Pipe,
Borla Stingers,
Baer Eradispeed Rotors front and +1s rear

Phase Two is all about more power and upgraded suspension.
From front to rear...
LS6 Intake,
NGK TR 55 plugs and GM Hotwires,
Stainless Works Longtube Headers,
GM 3:42 Rear Diff.,
Protouque 2800 stall converter.
Also Z06 Shocks and sway bars then lowered it to stock bolt limits.
And just for fun a dual-gage pod on the "A" pillar to watch Vaccuum and EGT.

Phase Three is the Tiger Shark front and rear fascia. Also the "Hot and Cold" hood from Eckler's. I'm also installing the GT Foctory 'Diablo' vertical door hinges. Z06 rear brake ducts.

Thursday the car is actually being assembled and they tell me it should be back on the ground Friday evening. I can see the finish line now.

It looks great! How's the inspection there in AZ? Here in VA, it wouldn't pass without backup lights.

How wide is the TS rear opening for the exhaust? I want the TS rear, but don't want to replace my GHL pipes - I'd rather modify them if possible.

I have installed reverse lights behind the lower screens. The makers of the Tiger Shark kits supply you with two tail lights that have the reverse lights built in but I have the LED lights and couldn't go that route.

that is the only thing left to do. The pipes were cut behind the tips and will be extended because the opening is a few inches narrower. Too bad they did that now everybody has to relocate the tips.

lights behind the screens. You can't see them until they are on. How cool is that. The same with the fog lamps. I oped to not see them until they too are on.

and I was going to use Classic Gold however they didn't want to do the vertical door kit. So I found Corvette Restoration of AZ located on Curry just east of Scottsdale Rd. It has taken 3 weeks to the day to complete the job and I am very pleased. Come see the finished project on the 4th at the Pavilions...All clubs weekend which means lots of vettes.

Default New pics...

Progress has slowed to the detail stage and that will take another day or two. I may get it back Wdenesday to road test it and shake it down then give it back for the final details.
