Question for Forged Wheel Owners
I'm in the market for a forged wheel (19/20) and am trying to figure out if they are indeed strong enough to run a low profile tire and drive the car the way it is meant to be driven. I noticed that a few of you have bent your forged wheels and was wondering how you damaged them (i.e. pothole, curb, etc...)
Also what size tire are/were you running when the damage occured?
Thank you for the information!

Reason: Adding additional information
I've got Iforged 19's and 20's. I have hit some serious potholes and a very large rock with the car and have not yet had any problems with dents or cracks in the wheels (knock on wood). The wheels seem to be very durable so far.
That damage is why you buy a forged wheel. If it bent a forged wheel, it would've cracked or shattered a cast wheel. That said, maybe you should look at 3-piece wheels from CCW or HRE if you can afford to spend twice as much. Keep the tires inflated properly to prevent unnecessary damage.

The following copied from GFG: GFG Forged Modular Wheels are built with quality, style, strength, and visual appeal in mind. Each GFG Wheel is engineered to accentuate the vehicles that will wear them. All GFG Wheels are true 3-piece wheels, and are constructed utilizing high quality spun forged inner and outer rim halves. Centers are precisely machined using the latest in CNC machining processes, and are manufactured from rotary-forged, 6061 heat treated aluminum.
I've bent wheels before on previous cars running low profile tires, so I know your concern well.
My Iforged 19/20s have been on my car for 35,000 miles now, been all across the country, and are still as round as the day I got them. I've been very happy with them...they are strong.

Thank you all for the information! Another request - would you please include tire size you are running and/or were running when you damaged the wheel.
I had a set of Colorado Customs on a B-body and pot holes gave them hell with 295/35/18. How are the hoops on these forged wheels different from the Colorado Custom Billets?
I have iForged wheels with 245/40/18 and 285/35/19 C6 GY runflats and haven't had any problems yet, but I just put them on last fall and have MAYBE 500 miles on them so far.
