Default PIAA 1100x wiring problem...help!!!

got all three upgrades,9005,9006, and 1100x, and last weekend couldn't install do to the snow. Everything has melted and is warmer so last night began putting everything in. high beams and low beams very very easy to replace. 1100x lamps not bad except when I got to the wiring instructions things become a bit unclear.....I mean I am no expert by any means but there are basically a.) a large solid black wire with a ring on it of which i ran to the ground nut under the A/C check valve. B.) a large solid white wire of which I ran to the positive battery terminal. C.) two solid whites and one solid black wires that are ran together to the switch that PIAA supplies. This is where the problem I have lies. The instructions state to cut the PIAA switch near the switch and take one of the three wires, the white with brown stripes, and run it to to stock lighting plug where you couple the white with brown stripes wire with the purple wire therefore giving the lights a switched power source using the stock fog light switch. Problem is.... there is no white wire with brown stripes..... on the wiring to the PIAA switch there are two solid white wires and one solid black one....these run to a quick disconnect harness and once through this the wires change to 1 solid white, 1 solid red, and 1 solid black.....Last night i went with the red wire and tried hooking it into the purple wire in the stock plug and nothing worked.... Has anyone had this problem before? Or are the wiring instructions flawed because I have no white with brown stripes wire on the PIAA wire harness nor on my 2000 coupe.... someone please help!

Thomas,
take the loose solid white wire coming from the PIAA switch connector
and hook it up with the purple wire from stock light plug
PM me if you have a problem

no, switch gets cut since you will be using the factory switch
(use wire #4)

I had the same problem when I installed mine. I guessed at which wire was the 'white/brown stripe' wire and guessed correctly.
