I drive a BLACK and I mean BLACK Coupe everyday and I love it! I can't stand driving a dirty car of any kind, so I am always washing mine. Just curious as to how often you guys wash your cars?
I wash mine close to twice a week and find myself either dusting or wiping it down almost everyday.
Oh, you mean the Vette. I was worried there for a minute. I too have a trip black vette and find that if you want it looking sweet, you got to wash it frequently. I don't do twice a week but definitely every week on average.
I haven't washed mine since i've owned it it's never dirty. I spray it down with Meguires Quickshine daily, wipe the windows with Invisible Glass, wipe the interior with Stoner's Interior Shine, and put some Turtle Wax on the tires, i'm good to go (also use Invisible Glass on the wheels, works wonders believe it or not). I've owned the car for 2 months now and i've never washed it.
My old car was a Trans Am, it was black, and I washed it prolly 2-3 times weekly, sprayed it down with quickshine almost daily! You know how black is, It looks amazing....when it's clean...
Once to twice a week, depending on how its looking. My vette is a garage kept daily driver here in west texas where it never snows or rains. It stays pretty clean on its own. Usually just needs a little sprucing up but I'll still wash it at least once a week.

O.K. You guys really crack me up! Anyways, back on track here: My Millenium Yellow C5, although dirty as hell right now, still gleams, and, even attracts multitudinous insectiae from within a twentyfive mile radius. I mean there are some suckers that land on my C5 that I could swear that I don't even recognize to be from this freaking planet. ****!
I don't know how you guys with black cars do it. Mine's pewter and I wash it at least once a week. Sometimes more. And if it rains. Oh man look out. I get pissed. I hate having a dirty car, I get mad going passed a sprinkler system that wets the road.

I wash mine a couple of times a month in the summer. Even when it gets a little dirty, the yellow still screams for attention, and gets lots of it.

I drive mine every day and it gets dirty. I pressure wash the underside once every 6 months and wash it at least once a week or more. 72K and it looks very clean even in the engine compartment.
I live in the desert, so don't have to worry about rain. I used to wash my blk/blk coupe weekly until I found out about the California Duster. What a killer product!! Haven't done a full wash in several weeks. Still clean the wheels/tires/windows etc.
Mine drives about everyday. If it is dirty it gets washed before it goes out. Sometimes once a week, sometimes everyday. Oregon rain.
Then Somtimes I have to wash 3.
I wash ours every time it is driven - it never goes back in the garage dirty. It is not a daily driver, but a weekend and vacation car, so it gets washed once or twice a week during "Corvette Season" (usually April through October with an occasional nice day in February).
I bought my Mag Red back in July of 05. I can count the number of times I've washed it on one hand. Its not my daily driver, but does get a lot of action. I wash, then wax. After that, I just dust it off about every other day. Even when rain gets on it, (i don't have a garage, just a car port with 3 open walls) I just wipe it off with a micorfiber towel and it looks great again. Wiping it down takes less than five minutes. I considered getting a black one, but considering how much work goes into them, I'm glad I fell in love with mine.
