Corsa Hot Tips, they are stainless steel but look like chrome. I got mine from Zip Products for $99, but many companies sell them. They have brackets and come with a drill bit and screws to secure them. Mine are over 2 years old and look great. Very quality part.

Just purchased a 2000 Corvette want to add chrome tips which and where is best to purchase.
From me, if you want. Send me a PM. I have a 2000 also and a few years back changed the exhaust system and over the years have a bunch of parts I would like to sell, but quite frankly, I'm just to lazy. My wife allways gives me a hard time about it but I guess I'm like a lot of other guys here that just don't get rid of anything.
This person (Chuck Pelton 248 681-4336 or ChuckPelton@comcast.net)sold me GM tips 18 months ago and I'm still satisfied. Bought some earlier from Ecklers and besides being from China. one bracket broke and I lost one. Found Chuck on E-Bay and they're still on a year and a half later. Here's what they look like..........................
Good Luck
Do they affect the sound or are they only for looks?
I think they are just for looks, some people say they do make it sound lower/louder. Prior to 2001, C5s have short black exhaust tips, Corsa Hot Tips are heavy stainless steel and stick out like they should have. They are slightly oval to match tail light shape. If you prefer the stock "quiet" exhaust (I do), this is the way to go.

Let's not forget about those beautiful Cone tips. Remember, they were the only officially recognized GM 'approved' exhaust tips for the 97-2000 cars. The laser etched C5 logo is awesome.......And they look good on the car!!!

I believe that I may have just taken those off my car when I replaced the stock system with Borla. I have some pics. Are theses the ones you are talking about? They have the C5 logo on the top and are cone shaped. They look great.
I had the Corsa Hot Tips. They look great on the car. I now have the Borla Stingers, and the car sounds great too.
Had them on the car for over a year. When I took them off and polished them up, they look brand new.
I have the Corsa tips. The chrome is just enough to set off the rear without spending big $ for a new exhaust. Can't quote a price 'cause they came with the car. I,too, like a quiet exhaust.

Not the greatest pic but you get the idea.

Do they stick out past the rear facia? I have seem some that stick out, and I want ones that are slightly recessed.
