Gauges dimmer in center?

Gauges dimmer in center?
Has anyone noticed their gauges a bit dimmer in the center of the gauge bezels than on the exterior? In other words, the inside of the tach and speedo a little dimmer as it goes in, almost like the light source is coming from the left and right?
I heard there are 2 UV lights behind there. Just wanted to make sure something's not wrong on my dash.

They are black llight
here is a picture on the instrument cluster and you can see the lights on each side of the cluster.
