mod question for you guys...
looking at a 2002 black 6 speed coupe saterday. they want 33900. a bit pricey but was still wondering. it has a granitelli? mass air 80mm throttle body and some kinda CAI with K&N's on it. i kow some mass air meters and T. bodies cause less horsepower and more trouble. any problems with these mods on this car?
also he said it has Z06 calipers. they look like regular calipers painted(very poorly) red

That seems kind pricey to me. If the car has those mods, my guess is it was not driven in a conservative manner either.
I have heard that the TB can cause surging. I do know that it does not give any power increase at that level of mod. If it were me I would pass - there are a bagillion of these cars driven by normal everyday non modding people that can be had much cheaper!
Most people who nod are real enthusuast - they can be harder on cars in general. This is just my 2 cents worth.
