Default Headers in Northern Virginia

* I realize that I could have put this message in the regional section, but I figured that more Northern Virginians would visit this forum than the regional forums. *

I live in Northern Virginia (Fairfax County) and considering headers. Emissions, however, need to factor into my ultimate decision. So, who here lives in Northern Virginia, run headers, and passes emissions? What headers do you have? Do you have hi-flow cats?

Thanks.

Don't worry about it. You no longer have to pass the sniffer test. As long as you're not throwing codes your good.

I run a full h/c (230-236 112 XE-R) 90/90 setup. I'm not worried about emissions. I'm throwing no codes.

Dynatech headers, hi-flow cats, Z06 exhaust, H/C, 90/90, CAI, etc, etc, etc, etc.

470 RWHP

Minimal codes should exists after a very good tune. Those that are inherent to major changes can be edited out.

I can vouch for that. Got a ride in it this past weekend. Explosively fast when you want it to be but idles and runs very well for a H/C'd car. Phil97SVT did the setup and tune on this car and I can't wait for the chance to get him to put something together on my car.

I have been for a ride in this car also and it is one of the fastest cars I have ever been in. I would love to do the same mods to mine.

Phil is somewhere in Southern MD south of Waldorf. I haven't been down there yet but am hoping to soon. He is the man to see for a great tune.
