Aftermarket Shift ****
Okay, after all the 
with installing, I hate it. I was driving my car home and the adapter came loose and I had to make sure I didn't rip it off. I am just going back to stock. I love the ****, it is awesome, but the things I have to go through for this thing just seems to be making it a pain the !
I guess you could say I am just

Hope this helps, I am going to have to remove my center console again, don't ask why, it is just something I have to do to fix this problem.

I have the same setup you have. I have not had any problems yet and it has been on for a year. I did not have to remove the console to install mine. Thats sounds like a lot of work to get to the set screw. Good luck...
