Yet another tire size question
Hi, I am thinking of running 255/40/r17, and 295/35/r18 on my wheels, I know these two tires are a little lower than the factory sizes which I have on now. Will this be really noticable difference in height, and maybe too low of a sidewall for a car that gets driven quite a bit, I do plan on lowering the car, (any advice on that would be good as well, such as what kind of problems am I going to run into by lowering it, and what is most likely to hit). Any advice is appreciated.

Those sizes will work just fine. The diameter may deviate from stock C5 sizes about an inch...but they are OE Z06 size tires (well close- the Z uses a 265/40 front size..but the 255 will work just fine too).
I don't think you'll notice any problems or big differences with them. No problem with lowering the car either.
