Default 2002 Z06 Pricing Question

Hey Guys!

Thank you to everybody that answered my question for the C5 pricing. But what do you think a Z06 will go for? I'm looking at a 2002 Z06 in Millennium Yellow with 17k miles, HUD, etc. Very clean with 1 year unlimited mile warranty. The dealer is asking for $37k out the door. They wouldn't budge under $37k. I wanted $34k out the door, but they wouldn't budge. What do you guys think?

I am not one to see prices keep dropping, but that price for an '02 is probably a bit high. I recently bought an '02 with 1800 miles for less. That said, I am of the school that if you are planning to keep the car, like it, and can afford it, go for it - so long as it is not crazy priced (But, I've seen lower mile '04s on dealer lots for less than $37K.)

I recently bought a 02 z06 with 27000 miles and paid 32900 for it. Which I thought was good for 405hp. However, i read an article in corvette magazine which stated that the c5 z06 holds less value now due to the c6 offering 400hp. They rated the convertible a better buy for your money and for a good longterm investment. But MAN that 405 is a lot of fun!!!!

I saw that article too and don't give a crap. Z06 is just too cool (IMHO).

BTW xaveon, I got my '03 Z for $33k. (hope that helps)

I paid $32k for an '02 Z06 w/2,700 miles this past September...definitely a buyers market.
