Just wondering if you guys thing this is a fair deal or not. '02 vert, 1SB, auto, everything except the 12 disc changer, 24K miles...appears to be well maintained. Price...$33K

I think that's a fair price. Seems like the clean low mileage convertibles have leveled off price wise, and $33K seems about right.
I suggest that if you can get the VIN - send a PM to Sponge Vette and ask him to run service and origination history through GM VIS. The more you can learn about the car before you make a purchase decision, the happier you'll be with your decision.

Good Luck!
Thanks for the tip. I do have the VIN.
The car is very clean...a couple little things, but nothing that wouldn't be expected for a car that has been driven.
Ruz,
I just bought my 04 for about the same price with 32k on it. A co-worker bought a 02 with 44k for about $28k. Both are Black on Black coupe. All comes down to How bad do you want it, after all it's only money

Read the freekin thread!!!!!!It's a Vert not a coupe which makes it worth 4 to 5 grand more....

Sounds like a fair deal to me. I just paid $27.5k for a Calif. '02 A4 3.15 vert with 55k on it. But it also included lots of time and miles left on an extended GMPP zero deduct warranty. It seemed like a pretty decent deal to me at the time.
The small dealer only had it one day before I stumbled upon it.....had my checkbook with me, not much wrangling, bought it and drove it home!!
Lucky deals are out there!!!
I got my '01 Vert for 29 grand with tax tag and title, though. Had 26K on the odometer and absolutely no mods. I did walk into teh stealership with the attitude, "I got da money. You make me want to spend it on THIS car." Guess they really wanted it gone, eh.
