Hey, newbie here. I finally bought my dream car ('04) and am loving it except one little thing. I have a nice black interior and everytime I look up, I see a huge warning label on my visors that says I should be safe and put my kids in the backseat to avoid the air bags. I'm sure GM did not choose this and it is a result of the gov't looking out for my best interests, but 1) I do not have kids and 2) I do not have a back seat.
So, I was looking to see if anyone had the same feelings and removed these stickers? Mine are pretty well glued and I feel like the cloth may rip if I try to tear them off. The only other option I could think of was to get someone to recover them.
I've been lurking here for a few days and from what I read, someone will have an idea...

Lots of people here don't like the looks of the stickers on the visors. Most simply remove them using a hairdryer to soften and then pull them off slowly. Seems to work well without damaging the fabric.

Exactly what I did. Use low heat and pull from one corner while applying heat. I used Goo - Gone to remove traces of adhesive that remained on the fabric. I was going to list "Removal of Cabin Stickers" as a mod, but decided against it.
