Default Anything special or to be extra worried about with a 97?

Hey guys, my priorities are that I am looking to get another vette. I was wondering if there is anything special or something I should be worried about when looking at a 97 (I know stories about 1st year productions) does this pertain to the c5? Is the 97 troublesome, more so than any other year?

From what I have heard, the '97s are not any more problemmatic than the other years. The link mentioned above is awesome and will tell you a ton of information about the C5s. Good luck on your search.

116k miles on our 97 and just drove it from Knoxville, to the Carolina Challenge where it did 11.88 in the 1/4 mile, then on to Tampa.

Autocrossed, Drag Raced, and would be "daily driven" except I rotate vettes for my "daily driver"

No "unusual" problems. In fact, I think the 97 is one of the best first year cars made

No typical first build year problems w/ these cars, but I'm biased....
