Default Super Max System

I have installed the Super Max system, Headers on back. My question is do I need to worry about heat cooking my wiring or paint. I did not coat the tubes because I had no idea it needed to be done. Could use some ideas. Thanks for any help.

you dont have to worry about paint, but the wires you do. just make sure they are tied back as far away from the headers as possible. You can warp the wires as well in tape. I tucked my rear o2 sensor wires behind the tunnel heat shield. Now go out and enjoy the new sound

I too have SuperMaxx headers and, as others have said, the only thing you need to worry about is wires. Make sure you tie/fasten them back.

Enjoy a few more ponies and a sweeter sound...

I got the same headers and I had them coated, some my say that the coating is over kill because they are stainless steel and that keeps the heat in better then regular steel. You will be ok.

That pretty much goes for any long tube headers.

Good question. I'm getting the Dynatechs next month and was just gonna ask the same thing.
