It can get very expensive, but well worth the money when you see the end product. Just take your time and do things in stages. Still expensive, but a little more bearable.
Sorry there is no cheap way out. Money is an issue here, I just do things in steps when I can. The most important thing to me is that I have the car It's all icing on the cake from there. I'm at the point now that if I'm not able to do another thing, then I'm perfectly happy with my Vette the way it is but a 402 is looking good at this time.
Phase One I did a long time ago...
Blackwing Air cleaner,
Bassani X-Pipe,
Borla Stingers,
Baer Eradispeed Rotors front and +1s rear
Phase Two was all about more power and upgraded suspension.
From front to rear...
LS6 Intake,
NGK TR 55 plugs and GM Hotwires,
Stainless Works Longtube Headers,
GM 3:42 Rear Diff.,
Protouque 2800 stall converter.
Also Z06 Shocks and sway bars then lowered it to stock bolt limits.
And just for fun a dual-gage pod on the "A" pillar to watch Vaccuum and EGT.
Phase Three is the Tiger Shark front and rear fascia. Also the "Hot and Cold" hood from Eckler's. I also installed the GT Foctory 'Diablo' vertical door hinges. Z06 rear brake ducts.
In fact the project is in the detailing stage and will be back in my garage by Tuesday.
As some one else has mentioned, you can look on the forum for used parts. Which IMO is not a bad place to start looking for some of your more 'simple' mods. Like your Intake, exhaust, and headers.
I seriously suggest doing every thing yourself including your tune. I do agree that messing with the rear would be a hassel but sometimes the knowladge you gain and the pride you get in doing it yourself might pay off, and not just in the $.
EG what is the "combined" total price for all of those mods you posted? Inquiring ricers want to know
