With spring fast approaching, I'm looking into new windshields. I've never considered a non-HUD windshield, but then again, it's not a thread you see questions about all the time so I never thought about it. Any experience out there with non-HUD windshields (with HUDs installed)?
For anyone else that may be looking into windshields, make sure you don't buy knockoffs of the original.....they usually are only $100 cheaper and not worth it quality wise. That's a little tip just from the research I've done thus far.
I installed HUD in my '98, still have the non HUD windshield.
the HUD image is just as clear on my car as it is on my friends '03 with factory installed HUD and HUD windshield.
I am about to get a new windshield... I can't tell if my car has a hud or non hud windshield now but the image is clear as day. Any way of telling which windshield I have, can you see the screen on the glass from a certain angle?
