A friend is looking at the car mentioned. it's an A4, very clean and sound. Has 67,000 miles on the clock.
What is the going price from a car lot on this car?
Thanks,
Rsty

I thought 1999 was the last year of Nassu blue, but I could be very wrong.

I'm going to say market AVERAGE is going to be $24,800. Give or take $500.

Lowest it's you're going to probably find it is around $21k. I would offer that much for it and work up to about $22,500.

YMMV.

You didn't state which body style - coupe, FRC or convertible. There were only 851 Nassau Blue Vettes made in all three body styles in 2000. So it's a fairly rare color. I'd say low-mid $20's is fair.

Sorry, it's just they were apparently so rare, I didn't know that.

Also, any other features? HUD, CD-Changer, suspension?

With 67K on the car, probably no more than around $22.5K.

I'd do mid-20's. Depends on what all has been done to the car. For a totally stock 2000 with the rather rare Nassau Blue with that many miles, $23-24k would be respectable. Nassau Blue is the best blue they've made for Vettes btw. <wink> Can't get enough of mine!

The asking price is too high..here is a LINK to the dealership that has it with picture.
Thanks for everyone's input.

there is one in georgia on autotrader with about 65k. asking $24,900.

rsty: did your buddy ever make an offer? never hurts. offer $24,000 and see what happens. the worse they can say is no. walk away. if they want to sell it that bad, they'll be calling your friend in no time.
