I am planning on getting the Michelin Pilot sport ZP tires. This winter while driving my 98 it would take 10-20 miles for the sensors to read the tire pressure. Would the stock sensors be going bad? How much do 4 new sensors cost?
Thanks,
Bob
Since they are about 8 yrs old, I would definitely replace them. They are $74.61 ea. at Fred Beans. Never seen new ones any cheaper. Gene will hook you up. Here's the link: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...00&catalogid=2

my local dealer quoted me $ 85.00 each , not sure which comes out cheaper though by the time I pay shipping .
they said they could not match the $ 74.61 because that is about their cost .

in order to buy the sensors at the dealer, you have to make the trip there, pay for them, is there any tax??? then you have to drive home. The wait for the dealer to call you, then you have to make the tip back there again to pick them up,,, thats two trips, an hour of your time?? Gas??? back forth , back forth? to me thats worth about 20 dollars and some tax if applicable, I think gene will ship them for
8 dollars. And you never have to get out of your seat. they arrive at your door, and you can spend more time here.
Hello, I followed the link as i myself need new ones, however it only gives the option for the 17" 8.5 rims and not the rear ones?
