When I first started reading his post, I thought, I don't remember this guy spelling this bad. He must be drunk or trying to be a speed typist or both. Then reading all the following comments I got some of the best laughter of the day. Never know what your going to see around here.

I didn’t get ANY tickets or have any trouble handling those cars. My brothers and I were all gear heads, so it wasn’t like I was the average 17 year old. I had been driving my grandfathers 3 on the tree Rambler since I was about 12. I see a lot of posts talking about wiping out in a C5. I managed to always keep it under control and never lost it.
I guess I got a few chuckles here, which was my intent.

safety futures or FEATURES? - funny post I laughed when I read it and what a few other members posted!

from the looks of it I'd say he hes either bad aim or big fingers, maybe a combination of the both. He always misspelled a word with the letter next to what he was typing. I find mysrlf doing the same thing (but i usually worrect myself. and maybe he had a few too many I dont know if it was corvette related except for telling us to drive our safely...
I'm dyslectic, and I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly. I have some problems with spelling and grammar (for real), so I copy everything I write, and make it into a word document, to check for misspelling and grammar. Sometimes I start to write a word with the 2nd or 3rd letter before the 1st or 2nd letters. It's a hard thing to deal with because it makes reading and writing difficult.
But just to make things clear, this was a funny and it seemed to work.

They say confession is good for the soul. Well they never read this thread.
A quick search on StevieB, in case you've never read his posts, reveals a competent writer and a thoughtful member. Seems he felt the need to test the short-bus waters - perhaps a feeling of complacency on the part of the Grammar Police here as of late . . .
Thats what I was thinking. I see he has already posted and cuaght us all in an early April day fools joke.

Thanks man,
When I did this crazy kind of topic the last time, I forgot about it. I went back to find it, and there were 3 pages of dialog regarding the thing. I can't remember what it was about, but there was a comment from somebody about why I didn't respond. I think it was only about 1 or 2 sentences long, but very bizarre.
I could have put this in off topic, but it would have just blended in with all of the other nonsence down there.

I am glad SteveB this cleared up. I was only on my second cup of coffee when I started reading this tread this morning, so I felt I was out in left field. His explianation and my third cup of coffee and it is now really funny. Thanks for making my morning read a fun read!!!!!!!!

Purdy funy stuuf!
It is really interesting to read the responses in threads like this. You get guys who respond with really great humor and others who respond as though they have been waiting for someone to mess up so they can pounce on them and inflict as much humiliation as possible. I find myself getting a little wound up every now and then, while responding to some of the "jerks" (and I use that word with all due respect) among us, and find myself grateful later on that I have taken the time to rethink my initial response and not embarrass myself by overreacting or missing the embedded humor.
Any of us are capable of posts that are beneath us at times...like at the end of a frustrating day or when someone has pushed our buttons, but what I love almost as much as the great information that is available on this forum is the incredible wit and humor in many of the posts that I read which very often sends me into convulsive laughter!
Now...as to the rest of you #$@#*%$ out there, why don't you just...excuse me...I mustn't digress.
Thanks StevieB... this was fun! U maid mi daay!
BTW...looking at the picture above of your lovely bride reminds me of a story I read about a women who phoned her daughters teacher in an irate mood one afternoon after school. She told the teacher that she was really angry when her daughter came home from school that day and said that her teacher had told her she was illiterate. The mother proceeded to tell the teacher that her daughter was not illiterate because she was married the day before her daughter was born!
