Would just getting a Cold Air Intake on a stock vette and keeping the stock exhaust be a problem. Not sure if more air in and not out might be a problem?
Thanks,
Tony
Can't speak for other years, but on my 04, I put a Halltech stinger on with the larger air bridge and smooth coupler about 4 months before I did headers and full 3" exhaust. Had no problems, no codes.

The stock exhaust really isn't that bad in terms of air flow. Its the sound that needs improving. No problem at all putting a new air intake on and leaving the stock exhaust in place.
