I don't have a set of the wide ovals, but have seen posts from others that say they are a good tire. I do have a set of the Firestone Firehawk runflats and they are very good tires.

Yes I know every thing I've read says they are a great tire, and the price is right. The only negative I've read is that although they list the tire as 11.5 wide they run narrower then the original GSC's width. I do like the wide stance of the GSC's.

So Im trying to find pictures of FSWO in 285/40-17's on a vette so I can see how they look.

275/40 17's front & 295/35/18's on rear and I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!! Approximately 440HP to the rear wheels and they hook up pretty good....just have to feather throttle a little taking off.

THEY ARE A VERY QUITE TIRE!!!!! Two Thumbs Up....I've been through a lot of tires over the years...these are quickly turning into 1 of my favorite sets...

Is your car lowered? if so how much? I was wondering about the 275 rubbing?

Car is not lowered, I have no rubbing issues at all. I am very pleased with the sizes I am running and also like the look.
