Default Dupli-Color Shield

Did anybody else see this on Horsepower T.V. over the weekend? It looks like a product that might be too good to be true. It is a spray on protective coating to prevent bug and chip damage that just washes off when you are ready to remove. Here is the Link http://www.duplicolor.com/products/shield.html Let me know what you all think. I am definitely thinking about giving it a try on my next road trip.

I read about it from your link. Seems it's mainly for bugs and grime. Maybe it's like a heavy coat of wax. I can't see how it would help much on rocks, but one thing for sure it can't hurt to try.

You maybe be right about the chips, I could have swore when they talked about it on the show they stated it could help prevent chips. I would think at the very least it would be a little more protection against chips. I am definitely going to give it a try on my next road trip, the least it will do is keep all the bug guts from eating into the clear coat.

Yes I know, I read the description closely on the website, I was almost certain they stated that on the show though, but I might be mistaken.

Sounds interesting - especially on areas like the rocker panels.

I saw the show also. They did say it would help prevent rock chips. I don't see how it could do that, but wash off.

I knew I heard that on the show. I was thinking it might be something like a spray on clear bra. Thought it sounded like something that might be worth a try.
