Ran the HP Plus on my '02 for a few months of HPDE's...I don't believe they performed much better than stock and very dusty. I have since gone to the Carbotech XP 10's/9's and XP 11's. They are very acceptable for the few miles a week I give the car on the street and on the track very predictible, little fade and had to learn when to brake all over again as they hauled the car down much sooner than I was used to. You might also do a search for this subject and also pose the question on the road racing/autocross section. You'll get a lot of help there.
PS, start out with some new rotors if you can. Try the ones from Napa. Reasonably priced and hold up well for track events.

I have 2+ years on mine and like them. No squealing and some dust but they all seem to do that. Occasional auto-cross or 1/4 mile play, they do perform well for me.
