Nice 80's during the day, a little windy, and 58-60 degrees during the night.
I left last Sunday and saw 200 people in line for the gates to open for the 12 Hour.
Have fun and stay away from Green Park after dark.

And, I hope you're right about the "beating".
But, having crewed there in the really old "olden days",
it is NEVER easy, even just to finish.
However, I do have a die-cast of our winning Vette from 1971.
And, a memory of free champagne and beer from the sponsor.
And, a memory of one of the worst hangovers in my life.
Started when I woke up in Kentucky. In the back of the car-hauler.
Lasted all the way to Michigan. Including my hauler driving stints.

Will be flying Corvette Racing Flag.
See you there.

I dropped a cylinder last weekend at the HSR event so I will not be there.
Some unfortunate soul in a Grand Sport Corvette had a little mishap last weekend in T-2 at the start of the race. His front tire exited the car (someone forgot to tighten it), and he went plowing into the tire wall while the tire was last seen 15' in the air and still rolling after it hit the wall.
Give the vintage Corvette guys a shout. I know of at least 4 cars that will be entered into the SVRA vintage support race.
