For those of you with verts that have the partition between the cabin and the trunk, it is a worthy investment? Does it cut out some of the rear wheel noise on concrete at highway speeds? Thanks.

I put in a partition with carpet on both sides. In my opinion it is a little pricey for what you get. The idea is good, but the execution could be better. First of all, using velcro to hold the unit in place is poor at best. I am going to put in some nutserts and use threaded **** so that I can remove the partition without tools. I also am planning on cutting the partitition where it is bent and putting in a piano hinge. That way I can remove the partition and lay it flat in the trunk when I have bigger items to haul. I do think that the partition is good to keep your top from being damaged.
No it does not but it does help with the tire noise some.
I think the air cond., heater work better and the radio works better for sound quailty and it does keep things from flying around when the top is down but you will loose alot of trunk space with the partion in it is best to tke it out if you go on a long trip and need several bags (wife)
I will be putting the dynomatt in this spring and hope it helps out with the tire noise better than the parition did.
Just my $0.02
Got the carpet on both sides one and did not notice a whole lot of difference in noise. The sound proofing matting I put in thru the whole car AND inside the rear wells did make a big difference with the top up.
The answer may be it depends...
There are several vendors and different constructions. fibreboard,ABS, carpeted ( one side or two sides).
There was a post of someone who took a scientific approach with the one he had and used a decibel meter witho and wihtout it ans showed not appreciable difference, but that test was limited to one make.
I do not get any drone from my Borla's with mine. I believe it quiets the road noise from my runcraps, but I do not have a decibel meter.
I didn't like mine. got the one with carpet on both sides and when I put it in, it wouldn't stay in place unless you use the velcro - which I didn't want to do. It's actually wedged between the floor and between the rubber strips for the trunk.. I didn't like that, cause if I wedged it in too tight, it would rub the rubber strips and eventually cause problems (I think)..
I had it in for about a week, then took it out and it's in my garage. It sure looks pretty, but I wouldn't buy it over if I have a choice..
Guys-- I know some of you have our partition. If anyone has ideas you would like to see incorporated, please let me know via PM and I will see what can be done to improve designs. If you think using a fastener is a viable option, I have some nice ones here and can try some out. I really didn't think anyone would want to drill holes in their car to mount, but if everyone agrees, maybe a quick fastener would be a great addition. The hinge idea makes sense too as well.

It is worth every penny (and $) of the investment.
It does cut, substantually, a lot of road noise (and the amount of reduction is directly tied to the quality of the partition - remember, you get what you pay for).
