Help me settle an argument....
Ok, so a buddy of mine was trying to tell me that Chip Foose has done a C5 corvette. I told him that he was mistaken, He worked on a C2 for the show overhaulin'. He swore that he did a show where they worked on a C5. I was looking online, and I saw nothing of a C5. I know that he has done a XLR, A Thunderbird, And a Mustang as well. Well... most recently. I am wondering he saw something that they just put foose wheels on. Am I write or wrong here??

I saw the program with the C-2 it was a very nice women that owned the car. I think I have seen every show at least twice now and have never seen a C-5. Unique Whips did a C-5 a couple of weeks ago for a young man that needed surgery for a heart problem though maybe that's the show that your friend saw.

He may have done a C5, but not on overhaulin.

It was a C-2. And no one is as good as Chip, NO ONE! He's a true designer and builder, where those other guys are "bling" specialists

Here's a clue: Do ya think the only cars he has done are the ones shown on Overhaulin' ??
The man is quite possibly the top in his field, in spite of the fact that he once worked for Boyd!!! And he didn't get there just doing the cars featured on the show. Given the popularity of the C5 and the income brackets of some owners, I'd be shocked if he HADN'T done several - not stolen from the owners for an overhaul, but dropped off on a "I don't care what it costs, just call me when it's done" basis. I'm sure there are many C5's with Foose wheels, but I suspect there would be no mistaking those for a completely Foose'd up Vette.
The man is quite possibly the top in his field, in spite of the fact that he once worked for Boyd!!! And he didn't get there just doing the cars featured on the show. I know he once used the suspension from a C5 on a 1956 roadster build up he did for Chris Titus.
And there are a lot of C5's running around on Foose wheels.
Off the top of my head I don't think he's ever done a full C5 build up. Although I volunteer mine as his base vehicle.

I completely agree... but I have yet to see one... *sigh* I think that I have been to just about every car show in So. Cali for several years. If anywhere... that is where you would find one.

I love overhaulin' and have never seen any C5s done. I saw a coupl eof recent shows where they did a new '05 GT and a Magnum, but those were the newest cars I have seen.
