anyone done this to thier wheels?

i think it looks pretty neat. i already have chromies but im looking for something different. was thinking of picking up another set of oem speedlines and having them coated. seems better than just your average glossy black powdercoated/painted.

i haven't done it, but those would look great on a silver convertible with a black top. Puts an end to the hem hawing over chrome -vs- black wheels, doesn't it!

The Black chrome looks awesome. A little pricey though, but would defintely look unique. I have a set of wheels I was thinking about chroming for my Silver GTP, I think the black chrome would look even better on it.

I've seen this in person and IMHO it's a cool look for sure but it ends up looking either, gunmetal or sort of brownish or dull copper colored on a black car in the sun... You would definitley want to stick with the darker gray/pewter paint jobs with these wheels for the best contrat. Again, just my opinion.
