I sure hope that a yellow, '03 Z06, bone stock, with 13k miles, and in absolutely pristine condition is worth $35K 'cause that's what I just dropped on one for my wife's b-day at a dealer today
The sales guy is shotgun for the test drive and he's eggin' me on "HIT IT HIT IT HIT IT HARD....now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!!!!" It was priceless!!!!
All I can say is daaaaaamn!!!!!!
a friend of mine just got an '03 w/16k for 28.5k. the car is in way better condition then mine is. totally stock w/new tires. $35k is what one can get a used c6 for at an auction nowadays.
Welcome to the forum. Don't worry about the price, if your happy that's all that matters. Congrats on the new ride. Now, go get some pictures for us to look at.
Supposed to rain here in the NE tomorrow and, supposedly, this car has never had a raindrop on it. It was previously owned by a gentleman in his 60's who traded it in for an 2006 Z06. We're waiting (very excitedly!) until Saturday to bring it home, which is supposed to be sunny.
As far as the price goes, my feeling (your mileage may vary) is that the NE seems to carry a cost premium on pretty much everything, including wages, and so from where I sit, it was the perfect car at the right time for a good price.
I'd love to post a pic of it, but the Posting Rules say I can't post attachments Maybe I missed something when I signed up?
