ABS light appears while banging gears

ABS light appears while banging gears

Recently I've noticed that while banging off gears under WOT the ABS active light comes on, any idea why?

Are you sure it's not the traction control?

If you put it into competition mode, you'll be able to spin the tires
without TC coming on.

The 97's have no comp mode, and this happens with the traction control off. Lets say I am on the interstate doing 70 mph and drop it down into third then nail it... The ABS active light appears on the DIC, but does not appear to do anything physically.
