I put this in the Z06 section but am not getting any response. Can anyone help?http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...92&forum_id=49

I used the HVAC plug - I think it was a green wire.
Use a voltmeter to verify.

Here is what I did when I wired power to my stereo head. Go to any auto parts store and look in the electrical parts department and find a neat little gagit that plugs into an existing fuse socket. This gagit has it's own fuse with a wire comming off of the side, plus another fuse socket for the fuse you just took out to put back into this gagit. Look in your owner's manual at the fuse block illustration and find a fuse that is powered by the ignition switch, like the cigarette lighter or radio or something like that. Pull that fuse out and then insert it into this gagit, then insert this gagit back into the fuse block. Then you will have a wire to extend power to anywhere you want to take it. It is simple and cheap and best of all, it is safe. Good luck.
