Window Motor CABLE - please help
Driver side window started making noise while going down, felt like there was some play in the regulator.
Read up on the forums, removed the door panel, and checked everything out. Found that the cable is stretched and not taught on the pulleys like it should be. Is there any adjustment for the cable? Or any way to replace the cable and not the entire ($280) regulator?
Til then, hopefully it won't bind!

Had that same problem on another GM car, not the vette. Cable finally binded. Only solution was to replace entire regulator. Sorry for the news but you might try to find a cheaper replacement. $280 seems awfully high to me.
