Default The Grond Chronicles : First Florida Mod; Brey-Krause [Dialup, take a nap]

So 2 weeks after my move from the Frozen Tundra (CT) to the Land of Alligators, Giant Bugs, Withering Heat and Hurricanes (FL), the mod bug reared it's comely head

I bought the Brey-Krause harness mount and stabilizer bar and racing harness brackets a couple of months ago, but the Frozen Tundra prevented me from installing it. Today, with a beautiful ocean breeze and 78 degree weather, I decided to tackle what I thought would be an hour's quick mod.....

Little did I know

I followed Wicked Weasel's awesome write up but I realised half way though that I really needed 2 people to install the bar itself. Well, just like when I installed my GM T1 sways alone, it "took a while" but I got it installed eventually.

Here are the pics

EG
p.s. and yes, I am re-doing my stereo once again....

Hey Stephen, congrats on the install!
What's the next mod for the sound system upgrade?

Can see where that might be tough to do alone. Looks good. Mild temps are nice, huh?

Just a few things to tidy everything up and keep an eye on power draw.

I don't know but every little helps. Along with the Elite Engineering Tunnel Plate, it can't hurt. I mainly bought it for a 4 point race harness

Here is Wicked Weasel's setup

Great mod...
...hope to join mod days with others when I finish the mods on BlackSheep and StuzVette...
...I may want to call upon your audio acumen when youve perfected your install...

I already gave away my last head unit and CD changer, as well as my RF mids and Clarion amp so I don't think I'm due to give away anything for a while
