After changing the oil in the Z today I used my fluid evacuator to replace the fluids in my clutch and brake reservoir. When I removed the cap off the clutch reservoir I noticed that there was some build-up on the rubber so I began wiping it off. I pulled it away from the cap and noticed that there are 2 of the rubber "thingys" attached to the cap, one inside of the other. Is this normal?

I change clutch fluid on a regular basis on my 04Z, to keep the clutch from sticking, it has a black rubber bullet shaped insert that looks like something your mother squeezed oranges with to make orange juice with that fits into the clutch reservoir but it' only a one piece thing, not sure what two piece rubber part your talking about, take a pic and post it
When I get home from the office I will check mine, but I must have changed clutch fluid at least 10 times and I think it's just one piece of rubber - but I will check
Clucth is fine. I've had no problems with about 27k on the clock. I suspected it should only be one piece since the part numbers were the same. Do I take it out or leave it as is? Thanks for the responses.

I think I would leave just one in...Seems to me that with two it would leave less capacity for the brake fluid...I could be wrong it would'nt be the first time
that rubber boot is to take the place of the fluid,as the fluid level drops due to evaporation, but there is only one in there you have two just take out one and fill the res. to the line and put he other one on the side in a plastic bag and keep it for a later date if you see the other one start to crumble...
