Need C5 general's help....
I have always tried to give back to the forum whether trying to help or painting parts for free. Now I need some help. (ironically, not for me, for another member)
I'm repairing a C5 in the shop right now. I'm trying to help the guy (a forum member) out.
What I need is a right lamp headlamp assy. I don't care if the motor works or not. I've searched for used but to no avail.
Mods, I know this isn't in the parts section but since I'm really trying to help this guy out, I need to ask as many members as possible. If you could leave this up for a few days, It'd be much appreciated.

I know my buddy has one - whether he'll be willing to part with it or not is another question. It's out of an '04 with 3K miles - so it's like brand new. I'm having dinner with him in about an hour - I'll ask.

Mark..........I'll check and see if they ordered a new one for mine. I doubt it because that side wasn't really hurt bad....but MAYBE.

Mark - I can get the headlight assembly for you. PM me with what you think is fair. It is virtually a new assembly.

If I was able to go through with the HID GP thats going on now, I would've given you mine for free, but I had to scrap that idea since I now have to buy shoulder surgery. I would try to hit up one of the members in that thread that's getting the new lights and see what they can do for you.

Again, thanks for the help and ttt's. I posted a message in that link you gave me vettecop, Thanks.
BTW, the biggest part I need are the plastic socket adjusters.
BWP, if your adjusters didn't get broken (highly unlikely) THAT's what I really need. I can buy the rest of the parts from the dealer.
My problem is the lens assy is under 100 bucks, that would be great. What you can't buy are the adjusters for adjusting the height, you can only buy them with the headlamp assy.
And that magical price is over 500 bucks.
I hate to spend an extra 400 bucks just to get some adjusters.
