Convertible cockpit interior cover
Anybody use them instead of putting the top up all the time to keep dust out?
Thanks!
Chris

I do. Especially when I drive to workwith the top down. But I work on a realtively safe and secure gov't installation so I'm not worried about theft.

I do not have one and no real desire to buy one.
Hey cenzo, you used "work" and "gov't installation" in the same sentence. Is that allowed ? JK.

Alas, I'm one of the few remaining who actually produces either a product or a service. The last of the Engineering Techs of yesterday.

It's like a mini car cover but it goes over the just the windshield and cockpit area when the top is down. I have thought about using it when it sits in my garage so I don't always have to put the top up and down everytime. Probably just a waste of money..a little dust won't hurt much and I wash it almost every weekend anyway.
I answered my own question.
Thanks!
Chris

I use mine frequently. I live in Arizona in the winter and when I expect to use the car each day with the top down, I put that cover on the cockpit overnite with the car in the carport. It's easy to put on and take off and keeps dust, debris, birds, etc. out.

Considering it takes all of 15 seconds to put the top up, why bother with something else?

I have one and it takes longer to put on than raising the top and hitting the remote 3 times (see below)
and since I have the Window Valet I just don't use it any more.
I would be willing to part with it if you want one.

that looks kinda cool... it also looks like a PITA. I thought about getting one of those but the top is so much easier to raise. Even without the Window Valet.

My last car was a convertible and it was much faster to just put the top up.
