You know, the three character alphanumeric code, like MN6 for six speed, etc.

Thanks Thats a great link. I was just looking at 2003. interesting that 54% of the cars produced were annv. red.

Does that flood of them make them actually less valuble in the long term then some other colors that year??? Just curious

The "experts" claim color alone does not make a Corvette valuable. Frankly - the anniversary cars were the most common of all the colors in 2003. They were fully optioned, but certainly not rare.

The C5 most likely won't be a collectible in the near future, there were too many made! If you add up the production over eight years - it comes out to around a 1/4 of a million cars. Sure there were some rare ones, like the 15 Aztec Gold cars in 1998 - but thats the exception rather than the rule. I hope you didn't buy it hoping it would be a collectible some day. You're much better off driving and enjoying right now than waiting for it to reach collector status! My .02!
