Yes. I live out in the boonies. I hook up at 26,600. 
I called all the providers just last week to see if there is anything anyone could do for me. My only higher speed option is a satelite for $600 and $90/ month. 
Somebody help me.

Uhhh... yeah... uhhh... dial-up is my current home configuration...
so what? Most of my time spent here is at work...
Although I hear that AOL has raised their dial-up customer rate to encourage switching over to hi-speed access...
Prolly only got one rack in the corner of the server room for their handfull of 'die hard' dial-up customers...

There is no way I would go back to dial up .
It's insane , I would probably the computer before the night is over .
I would pay the $ 90 a month for a satellite if all other options do not exist .
