What is the sound difference between the Corsas and the stock Z06 ti's? A buddy of mine just purchased a C5 vert and noticed the sound difference between my Z06 and his vert. He seems to be sold on Corsas for whatever reason but I told him to hold off until I posed the question here. I told him he may want to consider finding some ti's. From what I can tell from the clips on the Corsa website they have a little too much of the european high pitch sound to them. Any feedback is appreciated.

The sound of the Corsa Indy Pace Car system is a rumble at idle, and they really scream at WOT. They sound kind of like an IRL car, so the sound is more exotic, but I wouldn't term it a "high pitched scream".
How an exhaust sounds, and whether it is aurally satisfiying is a very personal thing. What sounds good on one car to someone could sound annoying to someone else.
The Corsa systems are designed to eliminate drone in that range of about 1500 - 200 rpm's. Some folks claim they don't mind the sound, and are willing to put up with the drone for the muscle car rumble that some crave. Others - hate the drone, claim they get headaches, and S/O's who are often passengers refuse to ride in the car for long rides.
The Corsa is louder than the OEM Z06 Ti systems. I have the Corsa with the X-pipe and I love the way it sounds. I get absolutely no complaints from my wife at freeway speeds - the sound virtually disappears at 70mph in 6th gear. If I want to hear them - I drop it down about two or sometimes 3 gears - WOW!
