Everyone...sorry for the extreme delay on the Key Hole Covers. The demand was WAY more than we anticipated. We have closed out a large portion of orders that shipped out last Friday. Everyone that was in the first batch should have their covers this week.

We have less than 20 orders remaining which we are hopeful that they will be closed out this week also.

We will not charge your credit cards until the product ships.

Again, I do appologize and hope everyone will bear with us through this initial wave of orders.

Feel free to call me if you have questions or concerns....

See ya,

Jim Vose

Thanks...To be completely honest with everyone we were letting the key Hole Cover threads die until we could get all the backorders caught up.

Guess what, orders are coming in like crazy again tonight since the revival of this thread. Just to set everyones expectations. You will get the covers, just that we are looking at about a 2 week back order on all colors.

I do appologize and we will be caught up in the next couple weeks and shipping times will go back to 1-2 days max.

Hang in there with me........

Thanks all,

Jim

Guys and Gals,

Guess you win some and you lose some...We have decided to discontinue the key hole covers due to supplier issues and quality issues. I do appologize, but until we can get a better solution we will not be accepting anymore orders for the covers.

For everyone that ordered, I will be contacting you individually to give you the option to cancel your order for a full refund, fill your order, or send what you have recieved back for a full refund.

We thought we had a solution in place but it turns out that it was not scaleable for any serious volume.

Again, please accept our appologies and expect a personal email to everyone that has an outstanding order later tonight.

Thanks all,

Jim Vose

Just to keep everyone in the loop on our first "product recall"

Here is the letter we sent to all Key Hole Cover customers.

To make it easy, everyones money was refunded regardless of whether we sent the Key Hole Covers or not. If they already got the covers, they can consider them a "free-bee" on our behalf.

Thanks for everyone's support....

Jim

**********************
Dear Southern Car Parts Customer,

Unfortunately, we have experienced some issues with our newly announced Key Hole covers due to supplier responsiveness and quality issues.
We take great pride in being responsive to all of our customers and it has become apparent that we will not be able to meet these standards with
our current supplier.

If we have not shipped your covers then your card will not be charged and your order will be cancelled. If your covers have been shipped (appox 30 were shipped last Saturday), we will still refund your money to your Credit Card or Paypal account and you can keep the covers since it was our mistake on the supplier choice. If you paid via Paypal, you money will be refunded this week regardless of if you received the covers or not.I do apologize for the confusion and hope that everyone understands that we do not want to ruin our reputation selling a product that we cannot deliver in a timely manner and that has issues with consistent quality.

If you have to have the Key Hole Covers, you can buy them at www.corvetteamerica.com (same product as we were selling, at a higher price)

If you did already receive your covers, feel free to keep them "on the house".

Again, please accept our apologies and if you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Thanks
