Default Clutch adjustment

I have had my Z16 for over a year now and have about 8000 miles on it.
Recently I have noticed that the engagement point for my clutch seems to have changed. It seems to be much closer to the top of the pedal travel as opposed to where it was just a few short weeks before, closer to the bottom.
Does the clutch need to be adjusted from time to time?
It seems reasonable, I have had to adjust clutches on other cars, I have just never seen any posts on this before.

There is no way to adjust the clutch take-up point after the clutch is installed. I think it is actually preferable for the engagement point to be higher rather than lower in the peddle travel.

One thing you can check is the fluid in the master cylinder reservoir. The level should be at the small "shoulder" mark that you can feel with your finger mid-way down the inside. A higher or lower fill can sometime impact an otherwise normal travel.

Dealer will be of little help in talking about your situation. The service writer will say "Clutch is not adjustible."

Your path is to chech the fluid in the clutch master cylinder, under the hood, driver's side next to the break master cylinder.

Remember the clutch is hydraulic. So fluid volume is part of the equation. Check the level and see if its full of discolored goo. That check take about 60 seconds.
