Several years ago, I worked at a place where railroad tracks crossed the road. On of the rails stood 3 inches above the pavement. One day at lunch a taxi speeding down the street going at least 50 mph niticed the rail and braked very hard to stop short. However, braking hard dropped the front end of the taxi and his bumper caught the rail flipping the taxi end over end landing upside down just past the intersection. Lucky no one was killed, but destroyed the cab. I NOW ALWAYS LOOK AT TRAIN ITERSECTIONS BEFORE I CROSS No matter the speed!
