Art,
I like the cleaner look of no BSM, but ultimately it's a matter of your own personal opinion. Good luck with your decision. Zuti

I'd leave the BSM alone and get rid of what looks like a funky paint accent on the cove to me.

Or get rid of both.

I like them as a trim item. I would not mess with the paint trying to take them off either...They add a little style to a blank area.

Art, sorry but I'm not a fan of BSM's, or the white paint lines either. Together they definitely do not work, too busy! 'Less is more'

OK ... here's my .02 worth. I'm not a big BSM sort of guy. I mean they don't disgust me, but if I had my dithers, I would leave them off. But at the end of the day, it's your car ... do to it what YOU like best.

I will say this first. It is your car and you can mod it any way you like.
BUT
Since you asked opinions...
I would keep the BSM's and loose the White accent and the extra C5 emblems. There are already four C5 emblems on the right side, 4 on the left side, one on the front and back AND the word CORVETTE written on the front and back. Adding the extra emblems looks Your car is starting to look like the one that keeps popping up every now and then with all the chrome accents and like 10 different c5 and Chevy emblems on the rear bumper.

Since you are asking about the BSM's. W/the painted coves, you should loose the BSM's. Way to busy looking.

I have them and like the looks, as do at least half the people that buy Vettes, since nearly half of all vettes are ordered with them.

In addition, they most definitely offer some serious protection from door dings, I would not think of removing them. I do have verifiable proof of my last statement, just so you would not think it is just my opinion.

I forgot to add that I think your car looks absolutly hot otherwise You have done some very tasteful mods IMO

Without, especially since you already have that stripe just below the BSM.

BTW, while you’re at it, you might want to take those strips off as well.

If the BSMs are on, keep them. They are not doing any harm so why waste your energy to remove them

I like them either way but without a tad more. However they just saved me having to buy a whole new door. Some doof SLAMMED their door into my car and took a 1/4" deep triangle out of the BSM

I will leave mine on. I like them and I would rather fix door dings in the bsm, then in the door. I also think they fill in the blank area well.

I'd be happy either way....

Personally I wouldn't bother taking them off, or putting them on

My car came with them
