Congratulations to you! IMHO: I prefer the sleeker, smoother appearance afforded without the BSM's. But, you know, they do help prevent dings, chips, and, scratch marks that can be had on a daily driver.

A vette looks great with or without it . It's still a VETTE !
did not have any on mine when I bought it , and like it better that way .
the curves stay smooth

When I had my 99 TA WS6, I liked the BSM on the Vettes since the TA had so many curves and lines and juts and jagged edges, but when I started looking for a Corvette I prefered not to have them on, since when I start looking at the car the BSM kinda looked out of place. But everyone will have a different opinion.

It's your car, keep or remove as *you* see fit.FWIW: My black coupe has them, and *I* think that on *my* car they look great. On other colors, I might agree with those that don't want 'em. Regardless, that's their choice.
Trivia/footnote: Don't know if this is true, but a post in another thread said they lowered the cd a hair by helping guide flow down the side of the body. Just another reason to keep mine

I think the car looks just fine with the BSM - I doubt that I would take mine off if I had it on the car. But, it really comes down to a matter of personal taste. If you don't like it on there, take it off. You can always reinstall it later if you change your mind.

Everyone can have an opinion and that is what we have opinions on the looks of the BSM's. Some say they ruin the looks of the car and others say they like the looks. Both views are right in the eye of the beholder.
It is not an opinion that they save the side of your doors. That is not subjective and can be soon to be effective. I have them on my 03 vette. I ordered it with them because my 97 Z-28 Camaro I had them on it and after 7 years and 84K no one door ding on my car. They were only one or two marks on the moldings also.

i like the way they look. they're not some generic cladding. they start wide and transition down to a smaller tapered edge. the car looks like it's needing something without them.
