Default Magnaflow????????

I am thinking of purchasing a Magnaflow catback exhaust. It said it has the trux pipe and then looks like straight pipes back. Does anybody have any info about this system? Good or bad. How loud is it? Can I expect any hp gains from it? Any info would be great. Thanks

I have the magnaflow system and I am a fan. Not the loudest but a great Corvette sound. Some Hi-Flow cats would really give it the full rumble. I am very happy with look and sound.

HAd them on my LT-4 and really liked the look and sound. Not sure they added any real HP without headers/cats. They were actually a bit quieter than I had hoped, but still a nice deep sound.

Default I like mine.

I like the sound, I like the looks, I like the 12.6 1/4 mile at 111 that I did in Gainesville and the 12.7 at 111 I did at Beach Bend.
I have a 98 and I put the Magnaflow X-Pipe and Blackwing on in late 2000 along with a Hypertech programmer. If I ever decide to get a C6 the first mod will be a Magnaflow exhaust system.

I don't think he's describing the same system we all have (Heck of an assumption there) Magnaflow has a new model out without the traditional mufflers on it. It lookslike it might be a little louder than the quad tip/stainless muffler models. OK, I'm done talking out of my hat, somebody else jump in here.

It is the system that has no mufflers just a couple of resonators. I am glad to hear that they are a good quality. On ebay there is a vender selling them for about $540.00 shipped. I made him a offer of $450.00 shipped and he sold it for that. He is a Magnaflow dealer. Sounded like a good price to me. I think I will buy them. Thanks
