Getting WORRIED
OK, when I bought the car, the oil pressure gage was pegged and the DIC was showing 130. I had a new oil pressure sending unit installed yesterday. My husband and I went for a long drive in the mountains this am and still everything was fine... gage working, DIC oil pressure showing in the 30's & 40's. We just ran to the store, right down the street and again the gage is pegged and again the DIC oil pressure is showing 130. Brought the car right home and popped the hood to cool down before looking around.....
Any ideas? Sound familiar to anyone???

It sounds like the oil pressure unit that was installed is no good......

I don't know where to tell you to look but I wouldn't be extremely surprised if another new sending unit does it too.
