Default 3 remotes ok? Or only 2?
I know that my 04 came with two remotes. Can I program a third one to work with it? Or will it only remember 2?

You can do 3.

Yes it can handle up to 3 remotes. Check your owner's manual on how to set it up.

make sure all are there and available when programming. if not the new one will be the only one that works.
